You’ve been reading lots of rumors and reports about Samsung’s upcoming flagship handset over the past few weeks but so far live images of the handset haven’t really been leaked online. That changes today. It appears that a source from Vietnam has leaked what just might be the first live image of the Galaxy S7. The image is also accompanied with specs which are more or less what we’ve already reported on previously.

This leaked image does appear to be credible. The first thing you’ll notice is that the camera hump on the rear is gone, as rumored, and that the camera module has the same color as the device itself. It’s said that this handset has a magnesium frame as opposed to an aluminium frame.

The source also claims that the Exynos powered version of this handset has 15 percent better CPU and GPU performance and that both the Exynos and Snapdragon variants feature high-quality DAC audio. Battery life is said to be on par with the Galaxy Note 5. Additional specs include water resistance and a 12 megapixel rear camera with f/1.7 aperture.

Obviously, none of this has been confirmed by Samsung, it’s going to conduct an event on February 21st to unveil the Galaxy S7, previous reports suggest that the new flagship will be released in the United States on March 11th.
