Cortana To Track Android Notifications Soon

cortanaMicrosoft’s Cortana will eventually be able to keep track of Android notifications, at least this is what we managed to glean from Microsoft’s BUILD developer conference keynote. To be able to have Cortana assist you in interacting alongside your Android handset, now that is certainly something that is worth checking out, don’t you think so?

With Cortana getting the ability in due time to be able to help you track notifications across Android devices, Cortana will also gain the function of assisting one in responding to SMS messages from your PC as well, now how about that when it comes to making life a whole lot more convenient? It does somewhat seem to resemble what one is able to perform with Pushbullet, except that it has been integrated into Windows directly.

Generally speaking, Cortana does seem to be lined up to picking up additional functionality with third-party apps simply because Microsoft is working on rolling out new APIs so that developers are able to conjure commands of their own. The APIs and new Cortana functionality will be arriving alongside the Windows 10 Anniversary Update that is set to hit the masses this summer. It might sound like a long way more to go, but do remember that we are about to bring the first quarter of the year to a close in a few hours’ time!
