Huawei P9 Shows Off Kirin 955 SoC In GFXBench Test

p9-kirin955The Huawei P9 has yet to be released to the masses, which means that there will continue to be more and more leaks concerning the handset until all is revealed in due time – which should be a couple of days away in a Huawei media event. Basically, it seems that the GFXBench site has shown that a Huawei P9 went through its doors recently, where it will run on the Kirin 955 SoC.

Some of the hardware specifications which were listed comprised of a 5.1” display at Full HD resolution (that is, 1080 x 1920 resolution), a Kirin 955 chipset which is the most recent chipset from the world’s third largest smartphone vendor, sporting an octa-core 2.5GHz CPU alongside the Mali-T880 GPU. The Kirin 955 SoC is said to come with a quartet of Cortex-A72 cores and an equal number of Cortex-A53 cores to boot.

The remaining hardware specifications will include 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory, while dual cameras that are located on the back of the device happen to be 12MP with Leica optics – hence being spotted with Leica branding as reported earlier this morning. Selfie lovers will have to be content with the 8MP shooter in front, while a 2900mAh would help to provide the necessary juice to keep it going.
