Injustice: Gods Among Us 2 Could Be Announced Soon

injusticeInjustice: Gods Among Us was released several years back with a rather interesting storyline where after the antics of the Joker that resulted in Lois Lane getting killed, Superman becomes a vigilante of sorts and tries to rid the world of evil by all means necessary, and in turn kind of becomes a villain himself.

The game was developed by the folks at NetherRealm, the same developers behind the Mortal Kombat franchise, and now it looks like we could be getting a sequel. This is according to a report from Gameblog.fr (via VG247), in which it cites a source that told them that a sequel could be coming soon, and with E3 around the corner, it could very well be announced then.

According to the report, the game is being developed for the Xbox One and the PS4 along with the PC, and could be seeing a release in March 2017. Apparently the game will also be relying on the same engine used in Mortal Kombat X, which if true will actually be worth looking forward to as the Mortal Kombat X engine is pretty good.

In any case it is only a rumor for now so it is best taken with a grain of salt, but like we said, E3 2016 is taking place in the next couple of weeks so do check back with us then for the details.
