Battlefield 1 & Battlefield 4 To Receive A More User-Friendly Interface

battlefieldIf you’ve always felt that Battlefield 4’s user interface was a bit clunky and just generally unfriendly when it came to usage, you would not be alone. In fact many users have complained about the confusing UI, but the good news is that this will soon change as DICE has announced that they will be updating the UI on Battlefield 4 to make it more user-friendly.

These changes are also expected to be applied to the upcoming Battlefield 1 which will be released later this year, so it is something that gamers can look forward to. According to DICE, “The new Battlefield user interface is designed to improve the experience of playing with friends and to bring relevant content to your attention.”

They add, “Now, you’re able to create a Squad before you actually enter into a game. Being able to join up with your friends and join into a game together makes it a much smoother experience, and helps make sure you’re able to spawn on your buddies as soon as you’re in the game.” As it stands, the new UI is being rolled out in beta form for some Battlefield 4 users, but they are expected to open it up to more users in the coming month.

No word on when it will be released in full, but given that Battlefield 1 is set for a 1st of October release, we reckon it should be available by then.
