Capcom recently confirmed the next character that it’s going to add to Street Fighter 5. It has been gradually adding new characters to the roster through DLCs. Ibuki is next to land on Street Fighter 5. Many are looking forward to her return to the franchise but there appears to have been some confusion over the release date of this DLC. Capcom has cleared up the confusion today by confirming that the Ibuki Street Fighter 5 release has been delayed.

Ibuki’s first appearance in the Street Fighter universe came with Street Fighter III: Third Strike. She was also included in Street Fighter IV.

Her arrival to Street Fighter 5 brings some new moves for her as well. One major difference between this and previous iterations of Ibuki is that she now has bombs, which make for an interesting addition to her play style.

Last week, Capcom released an announcement trailer for Ibuki which showed her the character in action, in Street Fighter 5. It goes without saying that many fans will be anxiously waiting for this DLC to arrive.

They will have to wait a bit, though. While it was initially believed that Ibuki will arrive on Street Fighter 5 early this month, it has been confirmed that Ibuki will actually be released alongside Street Fighter 5 Story Mode at the end of June.
