iPhone 7 Pre-Orders Reportedly Going Live On September 9th

Apple is due to come out with new iPhones in a month or so which is why we’re hearing a lot of rumors and reports about the iPhone 7 these days. One rumor has even suggested that the company’s new smartphones may not be called the iPhone 7, but that’s what it’s widely referred to right now for the sake of convenience. The latest suggests that iPhone 7 pre-orders will go live on Friday, September 9th.

The iPhone 7 pre-order date has been provided by well known Twitter leakster @evleaks who have been right about these things many times in the past.

He tweeted that it has been “confirmed” that iPhone 7 pre-orders are going to start on September 9th. This would put the actual launch date about a week later because that’s how Apple usually does this, sales traditionally start a week after pre-orders go live for new iPhones.

The same source has previously said that iPhone 7 is going to be launched on September 16th so the timeline fits rather nicely. For the past few years, Apple has been releasing new iPhones in September so there’s no reason to believe that it’s going to stray from tradition in 2016.

Obviously, Apple has confirmed nothing about its upcoming smartphones at this point in time and we can’t expect it to do so before the event. It’s likely that the announcement event’s date will be confirmed in the last week of August.
