If you’ve been online at any point over the weekend then you might have heard of a new game that’s taking the world by storm. The much-awaited Pokemon Go game has finally been released for iOS and Android, and it’s already one of the most popular games available for both platforms. That doesn’t mean that the developers are going to stop working on this game now after it has become a hit. They will continue to add new features to the game, including the ability to trade Pokemon.

The CEO of Niantic – the developer behind this game – John Hanke has told Business Insider that they will add a feature which is going to allow Pokemon Go players to trade Pokemon with other players, harking back to the Gameboy days. This is bound to bring back some memories for a lot of people.

Hanke described the ability to trade Pokemon between users as a “core element” of the game, so fans can rest assured that this feature is going to arrive on Pokemon Go in due time. Hanke didn’t reveal precisely how long it’s going to take before this feature is added to the game.

During his interview, he also hinted at some other features that might be added to Pokemon Go down the line, including better augmented reality features, and more.
