Bang & Olufsen is best known for its premium audio products but the company is also in the business of selling televisions. It makes a few of those and takes its time to come out with new models and now it has finally introduced a new TV. The BeoVision 14 is a special one as it’s the first model by the company that is powered by Android TV. This 4K television is available in 40 inch and 55 inch sizes.

The BeoVision 14 can be considered a successor to the BeoVision 11. It has a similar design but upgraded internals, such as a 4K Ultra HD panel. It’s a smart TV powered by Google’s Android TV platform which provides it with the ability to run apps and games, as well as support Google Cast.

Most high-end TVs from the likes of Sony and Samsung feature HDR technology but that’s missing in the BeoVision 14. For the price, many would have figured that B&O would throw in HDR support for good measure but that’s not the case.

The TV features a three-way custom speaker that’s covered by ultra-thin oak wood lamellas, the audio technology is the same that you will find in the BeoLab 18 speaker. The BeoVision 14 can be linked with BeoLink Multiroom products and comes with an updated BeoRemote One.

BeoVision 14 4K TV is available in 40 and 55 inch sizes for £4,495 and £6,495 respectively, no information about a U.S. release is available at this point in time.
