Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Pre-Orders Broke Records In Korea

galaxy-note-7-s-pen_04The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is the latest handset in Samsung’s Galaxy Note lineup, and it looks like it is already off to a great start. According to the reports, word has it that pre-orders for the Galaxy Note 7 back in Korea has been breaking records and has been selling more than the Galaxy S7.

Assuming the numbers are accurate, it seems that the Galaxy Note 7 has managed to rack up around 200,000 pre-orders within its first two days. Like we said, this means it has broken the previous record set by the Galaxy S7, and it broke it by more than double! This is no doubt a huge accomplishment for the company.

However we should point out that these numbers aren’t the official numbers, so don’t get too excited yet because for all we know, the real numbers might not be as impressive, or maybe they could be even better, but we’ll have to wait and see. Also to be fair, Samsung has been pretty aggressive with their marketing.

Over in Korea, it seems that Samsung has been offering users pretty amazing promotions to get them on board, such as a free Gear Fit 2 fitness tracker, 50% off screen repairs, and gift cards, so we wouldn’t be surprised if all of that played a role in helping the company clinch more pre-orders.
