Destiny 2 Could Be Coming To The PC [Rumor]

destiny-matchmakingWhen Bungie released Destiny a couple of years ago, the game was pretty much a console exclusive for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and the Xbox One. There was no support for PC, but apparently that is something they are hoping to change with the sequel, Destiny 2, or at least that’s what the folks at Kotaku have heard.

According to their sources, Bungie has big plans for Destiny 2 and one of those plans include finally bringing the game onto the PC, although at the moment the game does not support cross-platform play which is a pity considering that bringing it to the PC has the potential to add thousands of players to their existing player base.

Bungie is also said to be planning on making Destiny 2 feel like a completely brand new game, so if you weren’t 100% thrilled with the current game, hopefully the sequel will help right some wrongs. It seems that this is being done so that gamers won’t feel like Destiny 2 is just an expansion, although we have to say that consistency is not necessarily a bad thing.

That being said, these are just rumors so do take it with a grain of salt. However if there’s one thing we do know, it is that Destiny 2 is set for a release in 2017, so hopefully an official reveal plus all the details might not be too far behind.
