Nintendo Teases It Hasn’t Shown Everything About The Switch Yet

Nintendo’s highly anticipated next-generation gaming console was finally unveiled earlier this week. It’s called Nintendo Switch and it’s the same portable/home gaming system that we had been hearing rumors about. Nintendo has revealed a few details about the Switch so far but the company is teasing that there’s more to come and that it’s going to reveal additional details about the Nintendo Switch in 2017.

A spokesperson for Nintendo simply told the Wall Street Journal that “We haven’t shown everything,” and went on to say that Nintendo is going to reveal more details about the console next year before it’s due to be released in March 2017.

It’s worth pointing out here that even though Nintendo has shown off the console, it hasn’t provided any details about the console’s system specifications and it’s price. It’s possible that the spokesperson was pointing to these crucial bits of information in the statement.

Response to the Nintendo Switch has been mixed so far, the company’s loyal fans like it, but investors aren’t convinced. Nintendo’s stock price dropped by 6.5 percent one day after the console was revealed. Analysts are worried that the console might not appeal to a wider audience that’s largely limited to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One when it comes to console choices.
