Samsung Offering $100 In Credit For Note 7 Exchanges

galaxy-note-7-s-pen_02-tipIt may surprises some of you guys to learn that despite the many reports of the Note 7 exploding that there are still quite a few users out there who are still holding onto their phones. We’re not sure why anyone would want to take such a risk, but to help incentivize the return of the Note 7 handsets following the official recall, Samsung is offering customers money.

Or to be more specific, Samsung is offering customers bill credit up to $100 if they were to bring their Note 7 in for an exchange. We should point out that the $100 bill credit is only for customers who bring in the Note 7 and are willing to exchange it for another Samsung smartphone, so basically in this case Samsung is rewarding customers for their loyalty.

“As a sign of our appreciation for your patience and loyalty, we are offering up to a $100 bill credit from select carrier or retail outlets if you exchange your Galaxy Note7 for another Samsung smartphone, less any incentive credits already received.” For those who want a different brand of phone or a full refund, Samsung is still offering bill credit but only $25 which according to Samsung, is an acknowledgement of your inconvenience.

For those opting to get an exchange for a different Samsung branded phone, you will also be given a refund in the price difference. So if you opt for the cheaper Galaxy S7/S7 Edge or the Note 5, you will get a refund on the difference in price so you can rest assured that you won’t be getting ripped off. More details can be found on Samsung’s website.
