Samsung Expected To Reveal Note 7 Investigation Results End Of Year

galaxy-note-7-design_26-in-handThe Galaxy Note 7 has been recalled from around the world due to it exploding for more users than Samsung would like. Naturally Samsung is trying to get to the root of the problem, but last we heard the company was still clueless as to what could have been the problem that could cause the phones to explode, even after changing to a different battery maker.

We’re sure that many of Samsung’s customers are just as curious, but the good news is that we could find out the results of Samsung’s investigation by the end of the year. A report from the Korea Herald has revealed that Samsung plans on making the investigation of the Note 7’s problems public and the results could be announced next month.

The company has been working with several product safety agencies in the US and South Korea to figure out what could have caused the issues. Like we said earlier, it was initially suspected that faulty batteries could have been the problem, but switching suppliers should have fixed it. It was later speculated that the design of the phone could have been pinching the batteries and caused it to become damaged and explode.

Either way hopefully we’ll have the answers by the end of the year, which makes for great timing especially if Samsung hopes to redeem themselves and the trust of their customers ahead of the Galaxy S8 being launched in 2017.
