Samsung France Apologizes For Note 7 With Free 128GB SD Card

galaxy-note-7-s-pen_04It seems that Samsung around the world is handling their apologies differently over the fiasco that was the Galaxy Note 7. In the US we saw Samsung take out full-page apology ads in newspapers, while in China executives reportedly knelt in apology which kind of backfired on them massively.

However over in France, Samsung is taking a different approach. According to a report from SamMobile, Samsung France is apologizing to customers over the Note 7 by sending customers letters in the mail in which it contains an apology letter, as well as a free 128GB microSD card as compensation. This is on top of the 100 euro discount that customers are given when they exchange their Note 7 for the Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge.

In addition, customers can enter an SMS contest in which 1,000 lucky winners will be chosen at random to gain free entry to Samsung’s Life Changer Park, which is basically an amusement park in which park goers will be able to experience virtual reality. Customers who are chosen will have all their logistics, such as transportation, taken care of, so essentially you won’t have to spend a single dime.

Note that this is Samsung France’s own doing, which means that it might not necessarily be the same for affected Samsung customers in other countries, although we wouldn’t mind if they followed in their footsteps!
