Samsung Notebook 9 Laptops Get A Refresh

notebook-9-light-titan-9_1Samsung’s Notebook 9 laptops have been in existence for the past few years. In fact earlier this year during CES 2016, the company unveiled a refreshed lineup of the Notebook 9. However given that we’re reaching the end of the year, some time has passed and if you wanted another hardware refresh, you’ll be happy to learn that Samsung has obliged.

In an announcement on its website, Samsung has revealed a refreshed lineup of the Notebook 9 laptops. The refresh isn’t particularly major so don’t expect any major overhauls to its design or hardware components. Instead Samsung has given the laptop a more subtle revamp in its design by curving its edges more, introducing slimmer bezels for its display, and giving the keyboard a similar color scheme to the laptop.

It will also feature Intel’s latest processors, so if you’re trying to futureproof yourself as much as you can, this is one way to do it. The laptops will be offered in a 13.3-inch and 15-inch options. Regardless of display size, the resolution is at 1920×1080, so in reality the 13.3-inch option should be sharper. Both laptops will support up to 256GB of SSD storage and up to 16 GB of RAM (for the i7 model).

There is also a built-in fingerprint sensor for additional security, and will run on Windows 10 with support for Windows Hello. Unfortunately there is no word on pricing or availability just yet.
