12.9 Inch iPad Pro Supply Dries Up Ahead Of Refresh

It has been a long time since Apple launched new tablets. Rumor has it that the company is going to conduct an event next month to unveil new iPads. According to a report, the 12.9 inch iPad Pro is getting harder to come across as supply has dried up. This is normally taken as an indication that a new model is in the pipeline and is due to arrive in the very near future.

Apple has obviously said nothing about its tablet plans for 2017 at this point in time. However, it’s easy to imagine that the company might come out with new iPads next month since they are long overdue and the company has often launched new tablets in the month of March.

The report mentions that the 12.9 inch iPad Pro is seeing shipping estimates ship to 2-3 weeks in key markets like the United States, Australia, France, Canada, United Kingdom, Japan, Germany, and others.

The shipping estimate was at 1-2 weeks just last weekend. Additional checks of in-store inventory suggest that the stocks are depleting fast and there’s no indication that new shipments are coming in to restock the 12.9 iPad Pro, which is one of the tablets that Apple is expected to replace this year with a new model.

Apple CEO Tim Cook did say recently that there are exciting times up ahead for the iPad so fans of the tablet are certainly interested in finding out what the company has in store for them. Apple is yet to confirm an event for next month in which it will unveil the new iPads. The company is expected to launch a new 10.5 inch iPad Pro along with refreshed models of the 9.7 inch and 12.9 inch iPad Pro.
