That being said, for modders who got their hands on the Nintendo Switch, it seems that you could soon find out what you could really do with the console thanks to developer Luca Todesco who has seemingly teased a jailbreak for the device. Given that the Switch is not even a month old, we’re not sure if this speaks to the skill of Todesco or how hard Nintendo has made it to hack, or maybe it’s just a combination of both.

At the moment it is unclear as to what a jailbroken Switch can do as it is too early to tell, but like we said the fact that it can be jailbroken means that hackers, developers, and modders will soon find out to what extent that might be able to mod or tweak the console’s software to their liking. We’re pretty sure that Nintendo can’t be too thrilled about this and given that they recently won a massive lawsuit against a 3DS mod chip seller, we wouldn’t be surprised if the company were to use legal means to try and quash this.
