Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) Release Possibly Around The Corner

Samsung is due to update its Galaxy J series of mid-range smartphones in the near future. It has almost been a year since this series was last updated so it’s about time that Samsung brought out the new models. We’ve been hearing reports for some time now that new Galaxy J series handsets are in the pipeline. More evidence has surfaced online to support the theory that the Galaxy J5 (2017) release is going to take place soon.

The Galaxy J5 (2017) has already been spotted at the Wi-Fi Alliance for the requisite certification. It has also been spotted multiple times at benchmarking websites which revealed the specs of this handset.

Now, though, the Galaxy J5 (2017) has been spotted at the Federal Communications Commission for the relevant certification. It’s normally this step that’s an indication of an impending launch so now that the Galaxy J5 (2017) has made its FCC appearance, it may possibly be announced in the near future.

If previous reports are believed, the Galaxy J5 (2017) is going to be a proper mid-range smartphone with its Exynos 7870 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. Other specs may include 12 megapixel cameras on the front and back, a fingerprint sensor, and Android 7.0 Nougat.
