Westworld Season 2 Production Begins Soon

Westworld caught the world’s attention last year with its intriguing plot and story. The HBO show was one of the most well-regarded new TV shows of last year. Westworld ended up being the most-watched series ever for its first season, it even surpassed Game of Thrones.Fans will have to wait for a considerable time for the second season to arrive. After multiple production delays, it appears that Westworld season 2 production is about to begin soon.

The confirmation comes from one of the show’s stars Evan Rachel Wood on Instagram. Her post gives a not-so-subtle impression that production on the second season is about to begin in the near future.

No official casting announcements have been made for the second season so far at this point in time. Reports suggest that some of the cast members from the first season will be returning, including Evan Rachel Wood, Thandie Newton, and Ed Harris.

Show creator Jonathan Nolan recently said that the second season is going to be more “ambitious,” that the stakes will be higher in the show and that there’s going to be more drama.

“We have an amazingly talented group of writers, directors, and crew coming back and gearing up for what I think and what I hope will prove to be a season twice as ambitious as the first one,” he said during a recent interview.
