It was promised yesterday that a new Westworld season 2 trailer is going to be released on Thursday and HBO has followed through on its promise. You can now check out the latest trailer for the upcoming season of HBO’s hit show which promises a lot of action as the robot uprising is now in full swing. The teasers that it has released previously have been quite promising as well.

The trailer is set to a very nice orchestral cover of Nirvana’s Heart-Shaped Box and it flashes back to all of the major story points from the first season and gives us a glimpse of how those stories will progress. Some of the main characters including Dolores, Teddy, and Maeve feature in the new Westworld season 2 trailer.

The trailer’s ending is as chilling is as it is intriguing with Dolores smiling at Bernard and saying “Why on earth would you ever be frightened of me?” One can only imagine the circumstances that led up to that encounter but we’ll have to wait to find out precisely what happens in this story arc.

The first season of HBO’s Westworld was very well received and you can probably imagine that quite a lot of people are waiting on the second season to arrive. HBO is going to premiere the second season of Westworld on April 22nd.
