New Star Wars: The Last Jedi Trailer Released

It was confirmed over the weekend that the second Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer is going to be released soon. It was also confirmed that fans will be able to buy tickets for the movie starting this week as well. The much-awaited new Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer has now been released, giving us a glimpse of some additional footage from the movie.

Lucasfilm first released a teaser for the new movie back in April. It has been a long wait for fans that were waiting on this trailer and they will certainly be happy to see that it’s out now.

The movie’s main characters get plenty of screen time in the trailer. The characters include Luke Skywalker, Rey, and Finn. The movie picks up where its predecessor left off, The Force Awakens was released in December 2015. The new movie has been directed by Rian Johnson.

Even Kylo Ren makes an appearance in this trailer to keep us curious about what the dark side might be up to this time around. General Leia Organa can be seen as well.

The most interesting bit in the trailer is when Rey says “I need someone to show me my place in all this,” and Kylo extends his hand. Whether this is meant to signal her move to the dark side remains to be seen.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be released on December 14th, 2017.
