Capcom Wants To Port More Games Onto The Nintendo Switch

Back in the day of the Wii U, it seemed that many developers weren’t that excited about creating games for the platform. However Nintendo seems to have turned that narrative around with the Switch, where it appears that many developers are expressing their excitement for the console, such as Capcom.

Recently the company announced that they would be releasing the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary collection for the Switch, along with all the Mega Man X games, and also the upcoming Mega Man 11, but it seems that isn’t all. According to a tweet by Dr. Serkan Toto, Capcom apparently has plans to port more games onto the Switch, some of which are titles that weren’t available previously for Nintendo consoles.

This is based on an interview with Nikkei in which Capcom’s CEO confirmed the company’s plans. “He says the home + portable console concept works better than expected and that Capcom wants to port games to the Switch that were not available on Nintendo consoles previously.”

It will be interesting to see what titles this could mean, but we’ll have to wait and see, although we’re sure that many gamers are probably hoping that Monster Hunter: World will be one of them. In the meantime what titles from Capcom would you love to see brought over onto the Switch?
