128GB, 256GB Samsung Galaxy S9, S9+ Now Available Stateside

Before the Samsung Galaxy S9 was launched, there were rumors about possible storage options which included 128GB and 256GB configurations. However when the phone was eventually launched in the US, what we got was the 64GB version which for some might seem a bit lacking.

The good news is that if you were looking forward to getting your hands on the larger capacities, you’re in luck because Samsung has announced that they will be bringing the 128GB and 256GB variants of the Galaxy S9 and S9+ to the US. It will be available exclusively via Samsung’s website where pre-orders are open starting today, with the phones expected to be released on the 18th of May.

In terms of pricing, the 128GB and 256GB version of the Galaxy S9 is priced at $770 and 820 respectively, while the Galaxy S9+ is priced at $890 and $940 for the 128GB and 256GB version. There were rumors that the phones could have been priced over $1,000 but that doesn’t seem to be the case here, thankfully.

We should also point out that the pricing here is for the unlocked version of the phone. It is not tied to any particular carrier which means that if you want to buy it, you’ll have to make sure that you already have a plan with a carrier, or at least purchase a new plan.
