Samsung Galaxy S10 Could Come In Four Different Models

The Samsung Galaxy S10 will be launched in 2019 and assuming Samsung keeps doing what they’re doing, there will be at least two different variants of the handset available: one which a smaller display and the other with a larger display. However that could change in 2019 where there could actually be more than two models.

In a report from XDA, it seems that they have discovered within the Android 9.0 Pie update for the Galaxy S9 that there are references made to at least four different Galaxy S10 models. However this doesn’t mean that the phone will be launched in four different sizes or specs, but rather it seems that the differences would be in the camera configurations and the availability of 5G.

For example one model is said to feature a single rear camera and a 5.8-inch display. The other is said to feature a 5.8-inch display and a dual camera setup. Then there will be a larger 6.44-inch display with a triple camera setup, and the last variant will be a 6.44-inch model, with a triple camera setup and also support for 5G.

This seems to be in line with an earlier rumor that suggested that not all Galaxy S10 models will support 5G out of the box, and if these references are true, it looks like those earlier rumors appear to be right. Take it with a grain of salt for now, but if a CES 2019 launch is indeed in the cards, we won’t have to wait too long to find out.
