Samsung Galaxy S10 Will Not Sport Major Design Changes

2019 will see Samsung launch the Galaxy S10. This will mark the tenth phone in Samsung’s famed Galaxy S lineup and we’re sure that many are hoping Samsung has big plans for it, like what Apple did with the iPhone X for the iPhone’s tenth anniversary. For those who are hoping to see a major new design, you might be disappointed to learn that won’t be happening.

This is according to a tweet by leakster Ice Universe who claims that the company will not be issuing any major design changes for the phone. This doesn’t mean that there won’t be changes, but if there are it won’t be anything major. That being said, we’re not sure if this is necessarily a bad thing.

If the Galaxy S10 still does not adopt a major change in design, Samsung will be completely defeated by Huawei and damage the Samsung brand.

Samsung’s designs for their phones have always been pretty good and over the years, the company has refined the design that they’ve used. Of course one could make the argument that this is “boring”, but if you’re one of those who love what Samsung has done so far, then we guess it shouldn’t really matter.

Either way it’s probably still too early to tell what we can expect from the phone. Some are saying that Samsung could actually announce the handset at CES 2019 which takes place in January, so we’ll just have to wait and see if that will happen. In the meantime does a potential lack of a major redesign put you off from possibly getting the handset?
