Oppo Find X With 10GB RAM May Start Shipping Soon

Chinese manufacturers have a habit of pushing specs for their handsets that may seem outrageous on paper but it’s one of the reasons why they have been able to quickly create space for themselves in Asia where this can be used as a marketing tool. Oppo appears to be gearing up to launch a variant of its Find X smartphone with a whopping 10GB of RAM.

You’d be hard-pressed to find 10GB RAM in most decent laptops let alone flagship smartphones but China’s TENAA regulatory body has now certified the 10GB Find X ahead of its release. TENAA certifies handsets in China before they can be officially released by their manufacturers.

It may very well be the first smartphone with this much RAM which will be paired up with 256GB of internal storage. No word as yet on how much this variant of the Oppo Find X is going to cost but one can imagine that it won’t be cheap.

Oppo hasn’t dropped any hints about whether or not it plans to launch this variant of the device in other markets across the globe. It would be interesting to see how soon other Chinese manufacturers launch phones with 10GB of RAM just because Oppo has done it now.
