Poor Reception Issues Irk Some iPhone XS And XS Max Owners

Some customers who picked up a new iPhone XS or iPhone XS Max recently have been complaining about poor cell and Wi-Fi reception on their handsets. That’s not something one would expect from an expensive flagship device but quite a few users have now complained about less than stellar reception on both cellular and Wi-Fi.

Many have taken to Apple’s official support forums and Reddit to highlight that they are experiencing slower speeds in addition to poor cell and Wi-Fi reception on their iPhone XS or iPhone XS Max compared to their older devices. The issues don’t appear to be limited to any one carrier and reports have come in from far and wide across the country.

It’s unclear why some iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max owners are facing these issues particularly when the newer models are supposed to have faster Wi-Fi and LTE speeds compared to the iPhone X. Some believe that it may just be due to the networks being congested while others believe that it may be due to a bug that Apple can fix through a software update.

Apple hasn’t acknowledged the issue as yet so it’s difficult to say when that fix might arrive to put these users out of their misery.
