The VAIO SX12 Is A Tiny Laptop With A Ton Of Ports

These days, a lot of laptop makers are starting to transition to using USB-C in their computers. This means that for those of us who own USB-A devices or need to connect displays using HDMI ports, it’s time to start adopting that dongle life. However, VAIO seems to be bucking against the trend.

The company has announced their latest laptop in the form of the SX12. This is a tiny-ish computer that comes with a 12.5-inch display, but don’t let its size fool you because the company seems to have opted to deck this laptop out with a ton of ports for pretty much every peripheral you can imagine.

It will come with three USB-A ports, one USB-C port, one HDMI port, an SD card slot, a headphone/mic port, an Ethernet port, and even a VGA port for those who might still have a need for it. As for its specs, the laptop will be powered by Intel’s 8th-gen Core i5 or i7 processors.

In terms of pricing, the VAIO SX12 will be priced starting at around $1,100 for the base model but will go up to $2,000 depending on how you configure it. The laptop has been announced for the Japanese market and there is no word on whether it will find its way stateside.
