The iPhone 11 Seems To Be Scratching Pretty Easily

The problem with most smartphone design these days is that it is clear that companies are going more for looks than durability. We don’t necessarily think it’s a bad thing, but it does mean that you need to be really careful with your phone and maybe consider investing in a case if you’d like to prevent scratches and dents.

However, it seems that for iPhone 11 owners, some of them are already experiencing scratches on their devices. This is a bit of a shame because according to Apple, they had boasted during the phone’s launch that the glass they are using on the phone is the toughest glass ever on a smartphone.

According to one disgruntled user, “I have a legit crack/scratch in my screen that showed up out of nowhere. No drop, no incident… but I can feel it with my nail, but its not a crack in the sense that it’s emanated out or any spider webs. Just a small line-chunk out of the front facing glass, along with a separate small chunk missing a few millimeters away.  Truly almost seems like a defect in the manufacturing to have appeared after 24 hours of use without incident.”

We’re not sure what could be causing the scratches but if you are planning on getting the new iPhone 11, it might be a good idea to get a screen protector and a case as early as possible.
