New Apple TV With Upgraded Chipset In The Works

The last time Apple updated the Apple TV was a while back. The company introduced the ability to watch TV shows and movies in 4K, as well as introduced a brand new remote. However, fast forward to today, the Apple TV is starting to feel a little dated and if you were interested in getting your hands on the gadget, you might want to hold off on that for now.

This is according to the latest rumors in which it seems that they are claiming that Apple will be introducing a brand new Apple TV at the iPhone event held in the second half of October. According to the rumors, this new Apple TV will feature brand new hardware like an upgraded processor, and it is also expected to introduce a  remote that is slightly upgraded from its predecessor.

This upgrade is said to come in the form of a “Find My” feature that will allow users to locate their remote in the event it gets lost. Given how small and slim it is, it is easy for the remote to slip in between the sofa cushions or under the couch where it can stay hidden, so this “Find My” feature will probably be something that users can look forward to.

We’re not sure what other upgrades Apple will be making to the new Apple TV, so we’ll just have to wait and see come October 2020 when the new iPhones are expected to be announced, unless Apple decides to host a separate event entirely.
