iPhone 13 Set To Late September Release

Last year, Apple launched the iPhone 12 lineup a bit later than expected. It was said that this is due to the pandemic which resulted in Apple having difficulty testing out the production units. That being said, it has been reported that the iPhone 13 will be going back on track for a September launch.

The previous report was according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo and has since been corroborated by Daniel Ives at Wedbush who suggests that the iPhone 13 could launch in late September. There is no specific date mentioned, but it is expected to take place in the third week of September. However, Ives does seem to caution that there is a chance that it could be delayed to October as Apple could make some tweaks that could result in a delay.

If the late September date is true, it is good news for those looking to upgrade and don’t want to wait too long like with the iPhone 12. The iPhone 13 is expected to come with a host of upgrades, like a new processor, a possible higher refresh rate display, and also there have been rumors that the iPhone 13 could see the return of Touch ID which could exist under the display of the phone.
