Fujifilm X-H2 Could Be Launching In 2022

When it comes to video, Fujifilm’s mirrorless cameras have typically fallen a little short. While they are capable, they certainly aren’t on par with other brands such as Sony or Panasonic. However, that changed when Fujifilm launched the X-H1 all those years ago, but what has happened to its successor?

For those who might be worried that the company could have decided to kill off the X-H series, it seems that there is some good news on that front because according to a report from Fuji Rumors, they have heard from their source that the X-H2 will be launching in 2022, and that some of the features we can look forward to include 8K DCI/UHD video recording.

8K video cameras are starting to become a bit more mainstream these days and Fujifilm would not be the first. Both Canon and Sony have recently launched 8K capable cameras, but it’s good to see that Fujifilm is quickly hopping on board the bandwagon instead of waiting it out, although 2022 is still quite a ways away.

We’re not sure what else the X-H2 could be bringing to the table, but if you are a Fujifilm fan and you’re more into videography than photography, then perhaps the X-H2 could be worth waiting for, unless you have an immediate need for a new camera.
