Fujifilm X-H2 Might Be Priced Under $2,500

For a while, the fate of the Fujifilm X-H2 was uncertain, with some early rumors suggesting that the X-H1 could have been the first and last of its kind. Fast forward to today and we are hearing that the camera will actually be launched in 2022, but how much will it cost? According to Fuji Rumors, it seems that it will be priced under $2,500.

It is unclear how much below $2,500 it will be priced, but to be fair, the X-H1 when it first launched cost $1,900 for the body-only and $2,200 for the kit lens bundle, so under $2,500 does seem about right. However, it will have the added advantage of being a camera that costs under $2,500 while being able to capture 8K video footage.

Fujifilm’s video efforts have always been rather subpar. While not the worst, there are definitely other cameras out there that can outperform the company’s X-series. However, that changed with the X-H1 and with the X-H2, the rumors are claiming that one of the features would be 8K video capture.

Fuji Rumors points out that while $2,500 isn’t cheap for an APS-C camera, if you’re a videographer just after the 8K video, it is cheaper compared to other 8K cameras out there like the Sony A1 and the Canon R5.
