Apple’s Rumored Foldable iPhone Could Be Delayed To 2025

It has been rumored that Apple is exploring the idea of maybe creating a foldable iPhone. However, if you were hoping to see such a device anytime soon, be prepared to be disappointed because according to recent reports, it has been suggested that the handset has been delayed to 2025.

This is according to analyst Ross Young of DSCC who claims that Apple has pushed back their plans for a foldable iPhone to 2025. Prior to this, there were rumors suggesting that Apple could have been eyeing a 2023 or 2024 launch, but apparently the company has decided to push it back further.

It is unclear why Apple has delayed the launch of the phone, but previous reports suggested that Apple was still somewhat skeptical on foldable phones and was waiting for the tech to improve/mature further before jumping on the bandwagon. This means that for now, Samsung is pretty much the dominant supplier of foldable phones.

The company has made quite an impact with devices like the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 last year, and unless we see something significant come from the competition, it looks like the foldables space will be Samsung’s to dominate for the foreseeable future.
