Could this be an accidental leak by the Australian Apple online store? An eagle-eyed reader noticed that there were new Apple ads on the Australian tech site PC Authority showing higher prices for the MacBook Air, MacBook Pro and Mac Pro. The Australian Apple online store lists said items at A$1999, A$1599 and A$3599 respectively, but the ads sighted showed starting prices of A$2399, A$1899, and A$4499 respectively. If you click on the ads, you’re redirected to Apple’s current crop of machines at current prices, though. So is this an accident that caused the ads to run early, or was there a mistake in the price listing? What do you think? It does seem high time for an upgrade to the Mac Pro and MacBook Pro.
