ShairPort uses exposed Apple AirPort Express private key to stream iTunes music to unsupported devices

Apple AirPort Express A developer has successfully reversed engineered the private key for Apple’s AirPort Express and published an open source AirPort Express emulator called ShairPort. This means that users can now stream music from their iTunes onto unofficial third party devices that are not supported by Apple. No word on whether hardware manufacturers will be coming up with hardware that supports this decrypted private key to stream music from iTunes, but you can expect software emulators for streaming onto other devices to start popping up – at least until Apple decides to close the hole with a patch in the future. iOS was once upon a time called iPhone OS, or "operating system", which is the software that provides all the basic device functionality and is the interface between the hardware and applications. iOS was introduced with the iPhone on January 9 2007, and it was originally not intended to be programmable by third parties. Steve Jobs had envisioned that developers could create Web Apps that would run in the browser. This changed less than one year after when the iPhone SDK (software development kit) was introduced in October 2007. Interestingly, both iPhone and iOS were former trademarks of Cisco, that Apple now uses under a license.
