apple-pay-004Some time after the middle of last month, we did bring you a story on how there are some banks which have decided to jump aboard the Apple Pay bandwagon. Well, Regions Bank, too, would be part of this “adventure”, as they have begun to allow its cards to be included as part of the Apple Pay services. As to whether Apple Pay is safe or not, the jury is still out on that one. Regions Bank has allegedly emailed customers concerning the newly included Apple Pay support, and so far those who have given it a go to add their Regions Bank cards to Apple Pay were reportedly successful in their efforts.

Apart from that, Apple had already updated its list of participating issuers, with Regions Bank being part of the list, citing that the likes of personal credit and debit cards, small business credit cards and prepaid cards from the bank, too, will obtain Apple Pay support.

If you have not heard of Regions Bank before, they happen to be based in Birmingham, Alabama and serve the Southeast, Midwest, and Texas through more than 1,700 branches and 2,400 ATMs. Have you already made use of Apple Pay in some previous transactions, and how did you find your experience so far?
