Back in September during Apple’s iPhone event, the company unveiled several new Beats headphones. One of those headphones was the BeatsX, which are basically a wireless pair of earbuds. However it seems that for some reason, the headphones were delayed back in December and was said to be delayed 2-3 months.

The good news is that the delay could be shorter than we previously thought. According to a report from iStockNow (via 9to5Mac), it has been suggested that the earbuds could be launching as soon as this week. For those unfamiliar with the website, they basically track the availability of Apple products, and according to their checks, it seems that there has been some online activity on Apple’s online store as well as Best Buy US website with regards to the stock.

Of course you should probably take this with a grain of salt, but if the BeatsX headphones are a pair that you’ve been eyeing then we guess it’s good news that they’ll soon be available for purchase. Like we said we have no idea why there was even a delay to begin with, but Apple’s AirPods were faced with a similar delay without any real explanation as to why.

In any case check back with us soon to see if maybe stock has been made available.
