How many projectors do you know comes with a built-in DVD player? The OS DV11 is one of them, featuring SVGA resolution thanks to its DMD panel (BarkChip2). The DV11 is no performance slouch either, coming with a brightness level of 1,500 lumens and a contrast ratio of 2,200 to 1. Sure, you get a couple of tiny 5W speakers thrown into the mix, but chances are anyone with a projector won’t rely on the device’s speaker for sound anyway. The OS DV11 ambles along quietly at 28dB, although I’m not sure if that includes DVD playback. The 180W lamp on the OS DV11 will clock up a running time of 2,000 hours before it needs to be replaced. It certainly isn’t cheap though, retailing for 1,631€. I’m not too sure why would you need a built-in DVD player since most presentations are made with notebooks that already come with a DVD drive.
