QVGA display readable in daylight

TPO Displays have successfully developed the thinnest 2″ QVGA daylight readable module in the world, courtesy of LTPS technology. This unique display uses ultra-thin capacitors that achieve a leading 0.95mm thickness (or should I say thiness), delivering superior performance in a compact package. We definitely could do with more of such displays integrated into various devices, as there are still plenty of cellphones and PDAs that look absolutely washed out whenever you step indoors. The same goes to my beloved Nintendo DS Lite as well, it is a bummer playing outdoors with plenty of sunlight all around as it is extremely hard to see what’s going on. Mass production is expected to begin sometime next year.
