Qtv Software Plays Video Content on PS2

BroadQ LLC has released a new software application known as Qtv, allowing the humble PS2 to play video content on the Internet. The Qtv software was developed with very strong inspiration from its predecessor known as QCast for the PlayStation 2 way back in 2002. It is able to process up to 720p resolution videos while supporting commonly used video codecs of today such as MPEG2, FLV (Flash Video), H.264 and DivX. It will utilize a server run by BroadQ, downloading and constructing the relevant metadata via online video distribution services. Qtv is highly customizable, enabling users to program keywords connected to their favorite videos. You will be able to purchase Qtv for $49.95 sometime this fall.
