There doesn’t seem to be a Final Fantasy VII remake coming for the PS3 platform to date, so fanboys of the game will have to make do with the new Final Fantasy VII PS3 Limited Edition. Dubbed “Cloud Black”, this PS3 console will be individually numbered to make you feel extra special, and it will be accompanied by the Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children film in Blu-ray format. Not only that, the movie disc itself features a playable demo of Final Fantasy XIII. Those living outside of Japan can import the gunmetal grey PS3 from April 16th onwards, although you might have to fork out a premium over the recommended retail price of $550 within Japan. Hopefully this marketing gimmick will see Square Enix take note of the hordes of Final Fantasy fans and release a Final Fantasy VII remake in the future. We can dream, right?
