Acer Aspire One 11.6-inch Model

Could this be true – a new Acer Aspire One netbook that further blurs the line with its 11.6″ display? Of course, the most glaring difference would be the larger screen with a resolution of 1,366 x 768 complete with a 16:9 aspect ratio for those who love watching movies on the go. Apart from that, many other things about this enlarged Aspire One is pretty much the same as its predecessor, save for the redesigned full size keyboard complete with flat keys for a supposedly superior typing experience. Port alignment has changed as well, but both VGA and RJ45 ports remain where they were. Underneath the hood, you will find an Intel Atom Z530 and Intel SCH USW15S chipset complete with an integrated GMA500 graphics core. Initial testing shows a battery life of approximately 4 hours, while a high capacity battery doubles that amount.
