Hollywood is drooling over the recent jump in margins that Stereo 3D can induce (apparently, people are willing to pay a bit more for it), and it’s not surprising to see camera vendors start proposing integrated solutions as opposed to taping with two cameras side by side. This should make the whole process easier and most likely less expensive. The P2 HPX170 seems like an interesting solution as it is small with a decent optic and is probably less expensive than homemade solutions studios might have used in the past. [PR]
