AT&T announces Garmin nüvifone G60
AT&T has finally announced that its Garmin nüvifone G60 will be available to the masses Stateside from October 4th onwards, where it will offer an amalgamation of GPS navigation, voice, data and mobile web in a single device. Boasting similar core features like a high-end Garmin nüvi, you will find that the G60 will also come pre-loaded with maps and millions of points of interest (POI) for North America. Just make sure you carry the G60 with you whenever you go, lest someone breaks into your vehicle to ferry your precious new smartphone away. You can expect the nüvifone G60 to be available in the market for $299 a pop from the aforementioned date, where you will need to agree to a two-year service agreement after $100 mail-in-rebate.
