iBooks available only for US folks
Guess there are advantages being in the country where Apple hails from – it seems to be a worldwide phenomenon – nay, some say disaster, that the iPad in that part of the world (we’re talking about the US just in case you are geographically challenged) will support the iBooks service at point of publishing, so folks living elsewhere will just have to make do without – and perhaps scamper for an Amazon Kindle if you are hard up for e-books? One of the reasons behind this limitation could probably be licensing rights, similar to why some countries do not have access to their own iTunes store.
