Intel Offers $5000 Prize For Netbook Game Developers

Netbooks are well known to be bad gaming devices, thanks to their lower resolution displays, smaller keyboards, and lower processing power. That being said, Intel and The Games Creators still think that there still is a possibility for games to be designed for netbooks, and they’re running a contest to prove it. The contest includes a top prize of a $5,000 vacation, $1,000 first place awards in each contest category, and a free netbook for second prize winners in each category, and the gamers will also be featured in the Intel Atom Developer Program Community, giving them a bit of recognition. Let’s see what the results of this contest will be able to do when it comes to introducing games for netbooks.
