Martin Taylor has concocted the DIY PVC skater dolly you see here from just $12 in hardware store bits and pieces, not to mention borrowing a tripod head as well as an old skate from his basement. This quick DIY project might not amount to much in terms of looks, but it is pretty functional to cater a range of devices including a DSLR, compact point and shoot as well as a camcorder. Too bad there is no adjustable height on the spot, as it looks as though you will need to carry around PVC pipes of different lengths to suit various situations. Those with extra time to kill on their weekends might just want to give the DIY PVC skater dolly a go.
