Yahoo! to retire right products
If your employer is Yahoo!, now isn’t exactly the best time to be there since the company has been reported to axe a few hundred jobs over the week, but on the other hand, at least you have a job. Right now, we bring you more bad news from one of the original Silicon Valley giants, where Yahoo! is touted to be in the middle of retiring eight products, where among them include Delicious, Yahoo! Buzz, MyBlogLog and AltaVista. Currently however, only Yahoo! Buzz has been confirmed to be killed. There doesn’t seem to be that much permanence in the world of the Internet, and if Yahoo! is going to remain competitive, they will certainly need to buck up a whole lot more before they end up as an obscure company in due time. Something tells us that they’re the Nokia of the Internet world.
